Biography & Metadata

ØTTA seamlessly blends elements of techno, Latin rhythms, Brazilian bounce, and trance to create a dynamic and vibrant musical style. She has carved out a unique space in the electronic music world, offering a fresh take on Brazilian trance infused with infectious energy and rhythmic complexity. Even before ØTTA burst onto the scene with her high-energy debut 'Plus One EP' back in 2020, music and art had been a constant thread that ran through every part of her life. When she was growing up, she was surrounded by different styles of music, vastly different forms of art and inspiring architecture and was drawn to music early on in her life. She spent six years playing in an orchestra and this time helped shape the way she thinks about melody, harmony, arrangement and the emotional storytelling that's still present in her productions and mixes. And even when she went on to study art and architecture, ØTTA absorbed a language of symmetry, repetition and structure that shaped her very specific personal approach to her craft. It's this approach that grounded her breakout Boiler Room performance in Manchester and powers her curatorial instinct for HOTTIES, the label and event series she established to foster creativity in her community and pay it forward, connecting DJs and producers from across the globe with her plugged-in following of ravers.
