Biography & Metadata

Lieuwe Albertsma, better known as Wulf, is a Dutch singer-songwriter whose music has amassed over 270 million Spotify streams. His first major step onto a national stage didn’t go as planned. After failing to make it through the Blind Auditions of The Voice of Holland in 2013, Wulf could have walked away from music. Instead, the experience lit a fire in him. Rather than trying to prove everyone else wrong, he made it his mission to prove to himself that he had what it takes. A year later, he was scouted and invited by Ryan Seacrest’s team to compete in an international online singing competition, where he finished as runner-up. That opportunity led to collaborations with international producers and ultimately to his breakthrough as the voice behind Sam Feldt & Lucas & Steve’s global hit “Summer On You.” In 2017, Wulf launched his solo career with “Mind Made Up,” earning an Edison Award. His follow-up hit “All Things Under The Sun” earned him a Buma Award as one of the four most-played songs on Dutch radio. He has since performed on the Netherlands’ biggest stages, appeared on the television show ‘Beste Zangers’, and performed in the Eurovision Song Contest Interval Act alongside Afrojack. Through his music and his story, Wulf hopes to inspire artists and creatives to believe in themselves, embrace what makes them different, and never let someone else’s opinion define their potential.
