DAP The Contract

Embarking on his dreams of becoming a musician since the age of 4, Hip-Hop and Afro-Fusion artist DAP spent his younger years becoming a classically trained pianist and performer before later attending the Berklee College of Music, graduating from Brown University and Columbia Law School shortly after. Now a licensed intellectual property lawyer, DAP has recorded with Mark Ronson in the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios, performed across continents, most notably in Lagos, London and New York at venues in each such as Muri Okunola Park, The Saatchi Gallery, and Irving Plaza. DAP was featured on the soundtrack for the Disney movie ‘Noelle’ released in November, 2019. On May 26th, 2023, DAP released the EP "PW3RS", the third installment of the Powers series, and the single Fàájì on October 25th, 2024. In 2025, DAP has joined the Sound Logic team as a contract entertainment lawyer, participated as an official artist at SXSW, the Anti-Social Songwriting Camp in New York and Mondo NYC, and Hi-Lo Jack released “Tryna Be Cool”, their final single from their album “Group Project” in March 2026.
