Cheap Petrol

British indie rock has always been about tension—the grind of the everyday and the urge to break out of it. Cheap Petrol lean into both, crafting a sound that blends indie rock with melodic pop, with a nod to the 90s and early 2000s—driven by guitars and lifted by synths, without overthinking the boundaries. There’s no single source of inspiration, no fixed direction—just instinct, feeling, and a sense that something’s always shifting beneath the surface. You’ll find them somewhere behind the net curtains at the end of a quiet street—rewriting the script in their own way.
