Carlyn

Carlyn makes music for the hours when everything feels achingly beautiful and faintly dangerous. The Toronto based singer songwriter moves through trip hop, alternative pop and shadowed rock, building songs from sludgy bass, fractured drums, smoky atmospheres and melodies that seem to hover just out of reach. Her writing is intimate without being delicate, drawn to desire, power, heartbreak, hunger and the darker corners of human impulse. Her 2026 album MAYBE DEATH MAYBE BREAKFAST lives in that tension. Romantic and brutal, sensual and uneasy, it moves between restraint and collapse, letting silence, distortion and vulnerability carry as much weight as the words. Carlyn’s world is nocturnal, feminine and slightly dangerous.
