Biography & Metadata

So Sus is a Vancouver-based transfemme artist pushing the edges of trap, dubstep, and experimental bass. Her sound blends emotional storytelling with high-impact, club-ready energy, balancing heavy low end with cinematic, vulnerable moments. She has released music on leading labels including Monstercat, Deadbeats, Subsidia, Quality Goods, MorFlo, Zot Records and Jadu Dala. A two-time JUNO Award nominee, So Sus first broke through with her 2021 debut EP Voices, earning a Dance Recording of the Year nomination. She returned to the category in 2025 with Call Me When and was named Electronic Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards the same year. Her music has earned support from Skrillex, RL Grime, Excision, Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, LSDream, and The Chainsmokers, with tracks regularly appearing in both underground sets and festival mainstages. As a live performer, So Sus has toured with Wreckno, Mersiv, and Ahee, and completed a multi-city U.S. back-to-back tour with Quackson. She has performed at major festivals and showcases, including Shambhala Music Festival, Deadbeats Showcases, Monstercat Compound, FVDED in the Park, SXSW, Treefort Music Fest, and Goldrush AZ, delivering immersive, emotionally charged sets.
