Biography & Metadata

Stillcreek is a band and ministry formed and led by songwriter & producer Bryan Fowler and pastor & songwriter Dave Aubrey. Our aim is to write the most biblically saturated, theologically rich, poetically compelling and sonically captivating songs possible. From devotional use for families with our catalog of Psalms to congregational hymns and songs of worship meant for God’s people to sing corporately, our mission is the same. Timeless songs that create space to abide in the truth of God’s word and lift our eyes toward ultimate reality. Songs that catechize, teach, and bolster the faith of the young and the old alike in the global church. We intentionally and joyfully lean on the collective wisdom and council of trusted pastors and theologians for insight, critique, and affirmation in our lyrics as we seek to maintain a holiness of process and purity of motivation in every song we craft. We exist for the sake of the Church to be built up and edified, holding to scriptures such as Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” and Psalm 119:11 “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” as our measurement of success.
