Uby

Uby is the artist name of Uberto Scarpati, an Italian songwriter and composer with Neapolitan roots, based in the UK. His songs are shaped by memory, relationships, distance and the small details of everyday life. Moving naturally between English, Italian, French and Neapolitan, his music crosses different sounds and moods while keeping storytelling at its centre. His approach is simple: every song should have its own identity, something that can be felt from the very first notes. Rather than being tied to a single genre, Uby follows each song where its story needs to go. Since releasing Bridges to Tomorrow in 2025, he has built a growing catalogue of songs connected by a simple idea: music doesn't need to be complicated to leave something behind.
