Biography & Metadata

Chappy Go Lucky started making music at 5 years old—performing from the passenger seat of his mom’s old Civic before he was even supposed to sit there. Some things never change. He picked up a guitar in 2009 after beating Guitar Hero 3 on Expert and immediately asked his number-one fan (mom) for an electric guitar. Covers came first: metal riffs, solos, alternate tunings and anything loud enough to annoy the neighbours. Then came a $1,000 Bitcoin-fueled dare. Chappy wrote a vulgar rap song, performed it for his friends, won the bet and used the money to fly to Australia. From there, he became convinced he was destined to make music. Between 2017 and 2023, Chappy released music while struggling to believe in himself. Eventually, he stopped calling himself Chappy, focused on forestry and spent three years building his own business. He traded the dream for responsibility, but never really let the dream die. In July 2026, after building his forestry business from the ground up, Chappy finally created the freedom to return to music. Chappy Go Lucky is back—older, louder, more confident, and still carrying the same chaotic inner child that started making noise from the backseat of a Civic. The riffs are heavier, the stories are stranger, and this time, he’s not hiding. This is the second chapter. No polished persona, no perfect comeback story—just a guy finally giving himself permission to make the music he was always supposed to make.
