Biography & Metadata

With an august combination of awe-inspiring songwriting from his exploration of poetry to his stirring delivery on relatable topics ranging from Societal Ills, Love, Anxiety, Depression, Obsession, Heartbreak and Substance use, Agbebi Similoluwa Rossi (born 12 August), known professionally as Rossini, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, poet and producer based in Lagos, Nigeria with timeless depth in his eyes. Recognizable by the striking Red streaks in his dreads, Rossini grew up with melophile parents who exposed him to a wide spectrum of music from Afro icons like 2Baba, Dr. Orlando Owoh, Lijadu Sisters, and Fela Anikulapo Kuti, to rock legends such as The Beatles, Ozzy Osbourne, The Smiths, and Nirvana, and his self discovery of The Doors and emo pioneers of the 2010s SoundCloud era of Emo Rap fusing Punk Rock and Hip Hop. Rossini debuted with the Red EP on January 11, 2023 a trap-driven project with a mix of metal and cloud rap. In September 2023, he released 10 Kisses featuring New Zealand rapper Lil Emo and Eraztuz. Sorry with Immasoft and Cyno Sure marked a strong embrace of Afrobeats and was followed by fan favorite Broke and Lonely with Immasoft and Calling with Vikki. In 2025, he debuted in spoken words with Son of Orpheus and a darker afro-emo fusion of Alté music on Alté Girl, a haunting tale of obsession and emotional ruin in a 2 track pack, followed in 2026 with Oxytocin with IdaHomi and a remix coming with SOPHEEAA on Valentine's 2026
