SAMAY

SAMAY is a Maithili hip-hop artist from Darbhanga, Bihar. For years, I’ve been working hard to build something of my own through music. Along this journey, I introduced a new Maithili hip-hop sound to Bihar — a genre that is still very new for the state. From Darbhanga, Bihar, we are giving our everything to push Maithili hip-hop forward and represent it on a global level. We proudly create unique and beautiful sounds while staying deeply rooted in Bihar’s culture, continuously working to take Bihar’s sound to the world. From the very beginning, our goal has been to make Bihar’s music sound just as powerful, fresh, and high-quality as the music coming from Punjab, Bollywood, and Hollywood. This journey hasn’t been easy. We’ve been fighting this struggle for a long time, and we’ll continue to move forward with the same passion, hunger, and dedication. Join us on this journey, support us, and keep blessing us with your love.
