"Iyakuh, rooted in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, is creating a variety of different sonic landscapes from Organic Downtempo, Ambient, and Textured Beats. Incorporating a collage of nature recordings from around the world, the aim is to share an intimate auditory story reflecting the diversity of our home planet. Inspired by the vast expressions of lineage and cosmovision around the globe, the instruments used in the music weave a multicultural tapestry. Deeply influenced by the visual realms, Iyakuh also collaborates with various filmmakers, making soundtracks to support the preservation of various ecosystems, plant species, and culture."
