Biography & Metadata
Wei is the founder of Kuala Lumpur’s long-running indie label mü-nest (est. 2006), known for its melodic electro-acoustic, ambient and neo-classical releases. As a DJ, he explores a different world — curating edgy underground electronic, chill house, downtempo and left-field sounds that reflect the wider indie scenes beyond his label. He has performed at indie events and festivals across Kuala Lumpur and Penang, with appearances in Taiwan and Macao, including a stint at W Kuala Lumpur. Recently, he has also begun producing his own music, blending warm textures with subtle experimental edges. For fans of Bonobo, Tycho and Catching Flies.
