Rook Monroe fell into music by accident and became an in demand songwriter and producer for Rihanna, The Chainsmokers, Aminé, Jeremih, and more. As a solo artist, he’s earned nearly 30 million global streams from his 2020 debut project Californialand alone. Now signed to Warner Records, he’s stepping into a new chapter with an EP that bends R&B, rap, punk, and alt-pop into a sharp, multi-track statement. Raised in Chicago and shaped by time in Southern California and Miami, Rook found his calling after writing “Somebody” for Natalie La Rose.
