Browning & Byrnes

Allen Browning and Pat Byrnes are devoted Christian musicians. In 1984, Allen was filled with the Holy Spirit, given the gift of songwriting, and told, in prayer, to "Write the Great Music," meaning the music that glorifies God. Since then, this has been his mission. Pat joined him in this mission in about 2010. Pat had played in rock bands all his life. Pat quit the band he was in at the time to co-write and record original Christian music with Allen. Browning&Byrnes music features amazing guest drummers Pat Bautz (Three Dog Night) and Daren Pfeifer, with Ken Dudley engineering the final product at Cottonwood Studios. Allen crossed paths with John Elefante about 10 years ago, and John (triple Grammy winning singer/songwriter/producer and former lead singer for Kansas) has mentored Allen since then in the craft of songwriting. 2026 is the year that the Lord has led Allen and Pat to release their music, and is also the year John Elefante put together the best studio musicians in Nashville to produce an album of songs written or co-written by Allen and Pat; the working title of that album is "This is Worship!" a phrase guitarist Dave Cleveland blurted out during one of the amazing recording sessions in Nashville. That album will be released early 2027. We are so blessed to share this music with the world.
