kimaRA

Houston-based artist kimaRA is building a catalog of atmospheric R&B that blends elements of both hip-hop, pop & dance music which displays vulnerability, modern romance, and cinematic storytelling. Inspired by artists such as Don Toliver, The Weeknd, Drake, Summer Walker & Sade, kimaRA creates records that sit between late-night confessions and pop precision. His growing catalog explores love, growth, heartbreak, and self-discovery through lush production and memorable hooks, establishing a sound that's equally suited for headphones, highways, and heartbreak. With the debut single “Software Update” creating the comparison of someone changing and the relationship no longer being the same, to his latest release “158.3 / Tell Me” detailing what would be described as a perfect evening between two individuals, kimaRA is pushing boundaries on songwriting, vocal performance, and lasting melodies.
