A global spirit, Anu is the founder and lead artist of the Ārām concert series and the female lead vocalist of Mehfil, a musical celebration of South Asian roots and rhythms. Her first live commercial performance was the electric Kuweni Live in Concert. Her genre-fluid journey plays across classical, pop, opera, jazz, and everything in between. A lyricist in Sinhala, English, and Hindi, and composer of her own original singles Anu’s music is equal parts storytelling, soul, and sonic craftsmanship. She is a seasoned dancer, choreographer, and instructor, leading the inspiring dance movement Dance with Anu since 2015. Her artistry also extends to visual direction, having directed several of her own music videos. A published writer and compere, Anu released her debut book Healing Through the Arts in 2024 and is currently penning her second — a testimony to her deep belief in creativity as a path to healing and truth.
