Biography & Metadata

Grammy-nominated Latino hip-hop duo La Sinfonia emerged from Boyle Heights in East Los Angeles, bringing together Luis Banuelos (Arsenal) and Alfonso Garcia (Seis). Known for their unique fusion of Rap en Español, West Coast hip-hop, Trap Rap, Rap Tumbado, and Mexican Regional influences, La Sinfonia has built a respected legacy in Latino music. As early pioneers of blending hip-hop with Mexican Regional sounds, Arsenal and Seis developed a style that helped set them apart in the Los Angeles underground scene. In 2003, La Sinfonia released El Dolor, La Lucha y El Triunfo through Sony Norte, producing two singles that reached No. 1 on Spanish-language radio. Their 2008 self-titled album, La Sinfonia, released through Sony BMG, earned the duo a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Urban Album. After taking time away from music to focus on family and personal growth, the Grammy-nominated duo returns stronger, more experienced, and ready for their next chapter. Their latest project, Redención (Redemption), showcases their musical evolution through a fusion of West Coast hip-hop, drill, live instrumentation, bachata, trap, and corrido influences. La Sinfonia is back — reconnecting with the loyal day-one fans who have supported them from the beginning, while introducing their music, legacy, and evolved sound to a whole new generation of listeners.
