Siv Jakobsen

Norwegian singer-songwriter Siv Jakobsen quickly became a favourite of the indie-folk world with her first EP The Lingering before releasing her debut album The Nordic Mellow in 2017. Since then she has released several critically acclaimed albums, including 2023's Gardening, featuring Ane Brun. Her latest album Scandinavian Dread is set for release in March 2027, notably featuring Norwegian indie-pop favorite Marit Larsen. Since the start, Siv’s bold lyricism and stunning vocal ability has lead to rave reviews, a nomination for the Norwegian Grammy's (Spellemann) and tours supporting the likes of José González, The Lumineers, Gregory Alan Isakov and Beach Bunny. The vulnerability of her now extensive catalogue has gained her many listeners across the world and continues to do so today, over a decade into her career. “the sort of atmospheric bliss you could spend an afternoon luxuriating in” - NPR
