KORINTHIANS

KORINTHIANS is a postpunk quartet from Ghent, Belgium, characterized by some as “doom disco” or “new-romantic darkwave”. They are inspired by artists such as Goose, Mogwai, Linea Aspera, The Soft Moon, Boytronic, M83, Kite, Agent Side Grinder and Boy Harsher. A MAJOR WALK, their 2023 album, talks about the solitary effort of writing music during the pandemic and the solace this can bring. It also describes the band's musical evolution from a guitar-based band to a dark and danceable outfit experimenting with Moogs, synths and samples. A Major Walk was produced by Koenraad Foesters, also known for his work with Whispering Sons. KORINTHIANS played at Sinner’s Day Festival, Zeeheldenfestival (NL), Porta Nigra Festival, Platzhirsch Festival (DE) and Corrosion Fest (UK) and was support act of Traitrs (CAN), Invincible Spirit (DE), She Wants Revenge (US) and The Sheila Divine (US).
