Bridget Barkan

Bridget Barkan is a born and raised New Yorker and a multi-hyphenate performer. An accomplished actress, appearing in a variety of productions, film, theatre and TV. Recently appearing in The Knick, Blue Bloods, Blindspot, FBI and the voice of Misty Holloway on The Get Down. As a singer, she toured the world with pop glam band Scissor Sisters who opened for Lady Gaga, sung with Lily Allen, drag legend Joey Arias and has been a featured singer with disco band Escort. She has been a resident performer of her original musical one woman shows at Joe's Pub at the Public theater. She has sung on numerous albums including features with house God Todd Terry. Bridget is an Actress of music, a chameleon artist who shape-shifts through genre and style, each song creating a world unto itself. Some have said she is like the secret love child of Cindy Sherman and John Waters, raised by the ghost of Janis Joplin and can be found dancing under the full moon with Joni Mitchell, Bjork and Erykah Badu.
