Avilo is a Chicago-based tech house DJ and producer known for punchy low-end, tight drums, and a DJ-first sound built for peak-time floors. Drawing from hip house energy and Chicago swagger, his records blend house groove with techno pressure and immediate club impact. After breaking through with “People in the Back,” the 30th best-selling Bass House track on Beatport last year, Avilo gained worldwide momentum when Carl Cox and Loco Dice played the record in Ibiza. Since then, he has kept building with releases on Night Service Only and Repopulate Mars, along with regular live support from Tini Gessler, SIDEPIECE, HILLS , Westend, and Odd Mob. That momentum has continued to translate in real time, with Avilo playing New Year’s Eve alongside Matroda, completing a major winter headline run, Martin Ikin and Biscits pulling him up at Beyond Wonderland to play “People in the Back,” and Martin Ikin b2b Noizu recently bringing him out at Miami Music Week for an unreleased record.
