Symphress

Symphress is a progressive and symphonic metal band from Cluj-Napoca, Romania, founded in 2015. What began as an acoustic-ambient project evolved into a genre-blending force built on soaring clean vocals, harsh vocals, intricate guitar work, and cinematic keys — drawing comparisons to Nightwish, Dream Theater, Opeth, and Anathema, while carving out a distinct identity rooted in Transylvanian atmosphere. Their discography spans the 14-track concept album Father Time – Part I (2023), Pseudo (2024), and their ongoing third album Serpentine (2025–2026) — a bolder, more direct evolution into alternative metal without losing the band's symphonic DNA. Symphress continues to write, record, and perform, pushing their sound further with every release.
