Biography & Metadata

Sean Dampte, also known as King Leventis, is a Nigerian Afro-Fusion artist whose music brings together Lagos spirit, London influence and an unmistakable appetite for life. He calls that world the Awoodah way: bold expression, ambition and enjoyment, with African rhythm at its heart. With defining songs including “Women Weed Wine,” “Jejely” and “I Dey Consider,” Sean has built a catalogue that moves between desire, street wisdom and celebration. Records such as “Normally,” “Sinner Man,” “Wata Bam Bam” and “Legedis to Leventis” reveal the range of his sound, blending Yoruba, English and Pidgin with memorable melodies and confident delivery. His collaborative journey includes Seyi Vibez, Wande Coal, BNXN, Peruzzi, Mr Real and Magnito. Through every collaboration, he brings his own character: playful, self-assured and passionate about making music people can feel as much as dance to. “Awoodah: Sounds of Kalakuta” embodies his artistic vision, connecting cultural pride with the freedom to create on his own terms. With a new album coming in 2027, Sean Dampte continues to expand the world of King Leventis and the community he calls the Leventians. The music carries the rhythm. The man brings the personality. The Awoodah way is how he lives it.
