Hunter Moss

Hunter Moss blends folk-Americana songwriting with modern production, shaped by a wide-ranging love of music. After studying at the University of Arizona, Berklee College of Music, and Musicians Institute in Hollywood, he developed a guitar style inspired by Jimi Hendrix and John Frusciante—aiming to create the sound of several instruments at once. Open mics helped bring acoustic guitar into his sound. His early releases draw inspiration from Mumford & Sons, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, and Caamp, while future work will explore dreamier textures influenced by Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Cigarettes After Sex, and Beach House. Above all, Moss values honest, personal songwriting over trends. His goal is to make songs that capture real experiences and emotions—and continue to mean something to listeners long after they’re written.
