Alessandro Di Maria aka Sossa is surely one of the highest representative of the italian underground DJ scene. House music is his true inspiration,that has lead him to be one of most continuos artists in the european scene. Since 1994 he begins to assert being resident DJ at Nove Nove Club of Riccione, legendary Sunday morning after-hour of the italian Riviera,that started giving the groove for unforgettable sunday mornings. After success in top italian clubs like Fitzcarraldo, Cocoricò, Mazoom, Kamakama, he jumps into the international DJ scene around 2001 when he began being resident dj in dc10 at Circoloco parties….this made him share his feelings and music in clubs like “The end” and “Pacha” in London, “Mint” in Leeds, “Arena” in Berlin,etc. Since 5 years he dedicated body and soul to music productions.He produced on three different labels,the first one on vinyl club rec.:”rossobarberea”,”soundtracks”,”jurassick”,”vignola” and “miscellanous”;also on La terra rec.”la torraccia”,”svirgola”, “colomba”,”obesaic”.On minisketch rec.the last two tracks “pinanza andai” and “jurassick remix.In the last year he was concentrated for produce a part of the soundtrack of the last Muccino’s film, The new talent of italian cinematografy. The reseach and combination of new and old school sounds and records makes of his set one of the most fullfilling experience for pure house lovers.
