Kennen

Kennen is a Toronto-based band led by vocalist, songwriter and producer Ming Gao, known for their genre-blending music at the intersection of pop, indie, and r&b. The project evolved from a solo endeavour into a full band in 2025, with the addition of fellow multi-instrumentalists and producers Kyden Flint and Matthew Noah Reyes. Kennen first drew attention with viral songs Timothée Chalamet and 1 2 365 4 Me. With over 5 million streams in 2025 and placements in editorial playlists, including New Music Friday Canada, Daily Lift, Fresh Finds, GLOW, it’s a bop, and Jasmine, Kennen’s reach continues to grow. Their live presence has spanned major venues and festivals such as Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre and TIFF.
