"After playing covers of their favorite rock’n’roll, blues, soul & country songs for many years at local venues and events in southern Sweden under the name of Great Northern, it was time for a change. The pandemic and other circumstances gave time to reorganize the band, change name, start working on original material and collect new ideas. Throughout the fall of 2022 and through 2023 they rehearsed and arranged a handful of new songs and recorded them. It has been a long and fun journey and now they got some great tracks to present to you and the world. " ~ G:son Little Sr The members of the band have played with miscellaneous bands and have a lot of different musical influences which gives the music its character. Little South is: Svante Gustafsson (a.k.a. G:son Little Jr) - writes the songs, shouts out lead vocals, plays guitar and harmonica. Andres Asu (a.k.a. Professor Little) - pumps the bass, sings harmony vocals and is a sound recording wizard. Magnus Fredlund (a.k.a. Magnum Little) - keeps the rhythm guitar cooking and sings harmony vocals. Stefan Dernbrant (a.k.a. Steven ”BoomBoom” Little) - gives the band a steady beat on the drums and different kinds of percussion.
