On the Jamaican music scene, Dwayne Parkinson, also known as ‘Damage Musiq’ is not only one of the finest producers in the island, but he is also the innovative CEO behind the Damage Musiq Recording Label. Damage has definitely redefined the boundaries of music in the small island by churning out hit after hit. The producer’s hit making streak began in 2013 with hits from artistes such as Tommy Lee, Masicka,Beenie Man and Shatta wale, just to name a few. Clearly, the producer’s ingenuity has attracted and array of artistes, which makes him one of the most demanded producers on the music scene. However, his success has not swayed his humility or ideals as in a recent interview, he revealed that through his music he hopes to dissuade young people from crime and violence.
