Since the early 1990s, Fabrizio Paterniani and Massimo Briganti have shared a solid artistic partnership. Their journey has spanned diverse musical landscapes ranging from rock and jazz to psychedelia, culminating in their current project, "the Violet Sun," where they have solidified their musical expression. Fabrizio Paterniani, bassist, composer, arranger, and producer and Massimo Briganti, guitarist, composer, and arranger shape the kaleidoscope of sounds and genres that defines their musical work. "Violet Sun” it's a musical project "open and sensitive" to influences and collaborations. A path of research and experimentation towards a "place -not place" where emotions, sensations, moods and colors of a constantly evolving world can converge and be elaborated, through music and sounds. A rhythmic/sound path that crosses the suggestions of ethnic/tribal sounds and rhythms, immerses itself in atmospheres with rock, funky, progressive contours, absorbs the contamination and influence of electronic sounds, a suggestive and captivating multifaceted path.
