Supergrass – Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn, Danny Goffey and Rob Coombes – are one of the defining British bands of the 1990s. Formed in Oxford in 1993, the Brit, Q, NME and Ivor Novello Award-winning group have sold millions of records worldwide, scored six UK Top 10 albums and ten UK Top 20 singles, and built a catalogue that remains one of British guitar music's most enduring. Their Mercury Prize-nominated, UK No.1 debut album 'I Should Coco' (1995) announced Supergrass as a major new force, with the timeless anthem 'Alright' becoming an international hit and a defining song of the era. They followed with a remarkable run of acclaimed albums – 'In It For The Money', 'Supergrass', 'Life On Other Planets'. 'Road To Rouen' and 'Diamond Hoo Ha' – alongside the Top 5 compilation 'Supergrass Is 10' and the career-spanning collection 'The Strange Ones 1994–2008'. Across their career, Supergrass have delivered a string of beloved singles including 'Mansize Rooster', 'Lenny', 'Going Out', 'Richard III', 'Sun Hits The Sky', 'Pumping On Your Stereo', 'Moving', 'Grace' and 'Petersburg'. Following their celebrated reunion in 2019, the band returned to sold-out audiences across the UK and around the world, reaffirming their reputation as one of Britain's most exhilarating live acts. In 2025, Supergrass marked the 30th anniversary of 'I Should Coco' with a major UK and international anniversary tour, celebrating the album that launched one of the UK's most influential and enduring bands.
