The Engagement is the alt-pop rock project of Melbourne singer-songwriter David Di Cristoforo. With over 1 million Spotify streams, The Engagement blends cinematic production, soaring hooks and emotionally charged storytelling to create anthems exploring resilience, vulnerability and self-discovery. Inspired by the theatrical energy of My Chemical Romance and the fearless artistry of Lady Gaga, David crafts a bold, cinematic sound that fuses alternative rock with infectious pop melodies. From performances at St Kilda Festival and Luna Dark to sold-out shows at The Gasometer, Cherry Bar and Bergy Bandroom, The Engagement continues to captivate audiences through honest songwriting, powerful melodies and an unforgettable live experience.
