Biography & Metadata

Hi, I’m Jimmy from Sweden, and Kind Electric is my human-led music project. I’ve been making music for more than 30 years, creating over 500 songs between 1993 and 2026. Mostly pop in different flavors, but I’m just as happy wandering into techno, electronic music, or something involving a harp or lute. The songs, melodies and lyrics are mine. I shape the arrangements, production and creative direction behind every release. For most of my life I worked with traditional tools: MIDI keyboards, hand-programmed drums, synthesizers, samplers and computers, from C64 and Amiga to PC and Mac. Today, AI is another instrument in the studio. AI performs vocals and musical parts using melodies I have written. It doesn’t compose my melodies or write my songs. I write the lyrics too, although I occasionally use AI for things like rhyme suggestions or sharpening a phrase. I also love using modern tools to revisit old musical ideas and give them a completely new life. Some Kind Electric visuals are AI-assisted or AI-generated too. I don’t follow trends. One release might be polished pop, the next hypnotic techno, and the one after that something completely different. Sometimes it’s over the top. Sometimes the lyrics wobble a little. Big hooks, big feelings and probably one synth too many. I make music simply for the joy of it. If a song makes someone smile, dance in their kitchen or feel a little stronger, that’s more than enough. Be kind, always.
