Biography & Metadata

Revay is a Punjabi-Canadian singer-songwriter based in Vancouver, creating music that combines soul, alt-pop, and electronic production. Her work focuses on strong melodies and songwriting, drawing from personal experiences and cultural identity. Her name comes from the French word rêver (“to dream”), reflecting her decision to pursue music on her own terms. Growing up in a Punjabi household where traditional music existed alongside hip hop, rock, and metal, Revay developed a style that blends these influences in a natural way. Her music reflects both where she comes from and the environment she’s creating in now. She has independently released more than thirty-three songs and fourteen music videos, with placements on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday Canada and Mood Ring. In 2026, she released her debut EP Nasha in collaboration with Grammy and Juno Award-winning producer Chin Injeti, expanding her sound into new territory. Revay has performed at over sixteen Sofar Sounds shows in Vancouver and Toronto, as well as festivals such as 5X Fest, Soma Fest, and the Granville Street Block Party. She has opened for Raaginder, Asad Khan, and K-OS, and is continuing to develop her own headline shows. She has also taken part in Amazon Music songwriting camps and was a recent participant in the SAMA. accelerator program put on by Art Haus Toronto. She is currently working on a new EP and building toward future releases and live performances.
