Biography & Metadata

Emerging from the rain-soaked evergreens of Seattle, DB Stewart lives at the intersection of blues grit, rock n roll energy, with pop clarity, crafting stories equally suited for sweaty clubs, dusty backroads, and arena stages. DB Stewart has been songwriting since he got his first guitar at age 12, started volunteering at local shows at 14, and kickstarted his first band at 15. As a steward of great songwriting and showmanship, he embodies the bluesey swagger of KALEO and ZZ Ward, soaring soulful vocals Hozier and Teddy Swims, groove and polish of Nothing But Thieves, capped off with pure reverence for rock n roll guitar greats like Slash. Centered on love, loss, and reconstruction, DB’s earliest projects were predominately introspective; exploring mental health struggles, lost love, and his foray into therapy. The success of his debut album To the Unknown and singles like Let's Cruise and Gin and Time led to his first-ever European tour; capped off by the release of his 2024 EP Winter Blues. After global streaming success and more extensive touring, he playfully explored the highs-and-lows of his journey in his fan-favorite Follow the Stars EP (2025). 2026 led DB to turn his lens outward for the first time, addressing rising socio-political strife and imperialism with his anti-war anthem Take to the Streets (2026). “I now feel I’m putting my whole heart out there...moving forward, we can all move through all of this together”. More to come soon...
