Dread Kennedy

Growing up in both the cities of Long Beach & Carson, CA, Dread Kennedy has always been connected to music through​ ​his culture. As a Polynesian, of Samoan descent, language, music, and dance has always been three of the biggest representations of his roots​. As the lead singer for a ​Southern California band, named @ItalVibes and vocalist in @JoshHeinrichs, Voltron band, Dread Kennedy has​ ​since broadened his talents to become quite the all-around Artist. Adding the ukulele, guitar, bass, piano, and drums to his repertoire it was only a matter of time before he would​ embark on a road as a solo artist releasing his first single, “Mr. Music Man” on Oct. 26th, 2018. Along with his gifted vocal, songwriting, and freestyle abilities, Dread Kennedy delivers a performance that will have you dancing the night away and still wanting more.​ ​He has gained the recognition and support from his peers, as it is not, uncommon to see artists such as @CollieBuddz, @JoshHeinrichs, @FortunateYouth, @TribalSeeds, and​ ​a legend like @PatoBanton pull him on stage​ ​for a family jam​ ​and toasting session.​ Having ​Performed at major west coast festivals such as One Love Cali Reggae Fest, Reggae on the Mountain, to only name a couple, it is safe to say that Dread Kennedy was born for the stage and "Mr. Music Man" for the masses. With a want and drive to impact the masses, Dread Kennedy is paving his way into musical reggae history​ ​one heart at a time.
