Angel Toakesse

Raised in Ivory Coast and shaped by the church, Angel Toakesse is a Dallas-based artist, music producer, sound engineer, and songwriter whose music bridges Gospel, R&B, and Afrobeats with an unmistakable West African heartbeat. Faith in YHWH isn’t a backdrop for his sound, it’s the foundation. His catalog keeps gaining traction with songs like “Fill My Soul” (49K+ streams), “Amazing Grace” (19K+), and “Higher” (21K+), backed by 200K+ verified credits on Muso.ai and a growing list of collaborations. Influenced by artists like Mali Music, Tems, SHERIE, and Ed Sheeran as much as by the rhythms of the streets and sanctuaries he grew up in, Angel makes music built to encourage, restore, and point listeners toward something higher. If you’re discovering him now, you’re early.
