Nico Segal is a trumpeter, composer, and producer whose genre-defying career has made him a standout voice in modern music. Born and raised in Chicago, Segal emerged as a founding member of the GRAMMY-winning collective The Social Experiment, where he co-created groundbreaking projects like Surf (2015) under the moniker Donnie Trumpet and contributed to Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book. In addition to his collaborative achievements, Segal is a co-creator of Intellexual, an introspective duo project with longtime collaborator Nate Fox.
