Emmanuel Oba kalu fondly known as Emarshal is a multi-talented Nigerian recording and performing artist born and raised in the city of Lagos, Nigeria . He forayed into the music scene some years back with couple of records to his name. Emarshal's music is a hybrid of Afro-fusion and highlife. He cross-pollinates indigenous sound mixed with urban neo soul genres. He recently just released a new single 'Oyim' under the imprint of his new record label 'DreamCruiz records' This song's title is perfectly indicative of what is inside a groovy love song that celebrates romantic affection in all its glory. For a debut, it is incredibly compelling as the sweet-voiced singer seamlessly showcased adept penmanship and vocal ability throughout the song over a mix of igbo and pidgin English language on different verses and the chorus. Emarshal is currently on an impressive run and single-handedly reimagining the Nigerian music scene one musicical note at a time.
