Systems In Blue

SYSTEMS IN BLUE was founded in the autumn of 2003. Since 1984 Rolf Köhler, Detlef Wiedeke and Michael Scholz were a successful studio choir and supported with their voices numerous artist like Bonnie Tyler, Chris Norman, Roy Black, Al Martino and many more. They were especially the original falsetto choruses of Modern Talking and Blue System. Many requests from the community were brought to us and Thomas Widrat had a concept. He had composed lyrics and ideas for songs in 80ies style. We had a deal with a young Label in Berlin and released our first single Magic Mystery in 2004. With the support of Spectre Media, Systems in Blue could produce and release their first album POINT OF NO RETURN in 2005. In 2007 the second album OUT OF THE BLUE was produced. Just before the completion of this enterprise Rolf died. With the help of Michael Backens, Detlef and Michael succeeded to finish the album, 2008 released by Spectre Media. After this stroke of fate it seemed to be the end of SIB. In collaboration with Johann Perrier from Paris France and Olaf Senkbeil BACK IN BLUE was released 2015, followed by MELANGE BLEU in 2017, BLUE HORIZONS in 2019 and BLUE UNIVERSE in 2020. Olaf left the project in 2021. With the assistance of Michael Backens in 2022 the next singles LOOK UP and 2023 AQUARIUS were released. The years 2023/24 are our 20th Anniversary. On this occasion we’ve released a jubilee compilation Anthology 💿 2026 the year of BLUE ODYSSEY Ten brand new songs 🎶
