ICE THOMPSON is the new artistic identity of Colombian DJ and producer Andrés Saenz, formerly known as TacoMan. Under his previous alias, he released music on respected global labels including Hottrax, Get Physical, Armada Music, Moan, Deeperfect and ElRow Music, establishing his presence within the international house and tech house circuit. His music has received support from leading DJs and tastemakers in the scene, including Marco Carola, Luciano, Paco Osuna, The Martinez Brothers, Nic Fanciulli, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Prok & Fitch, Jamie Jones and Franky Rizardo, among others. Born in Medellín and now based in New York City, ICE THOMPSON has performed across major club and festival cities including Ibiza, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Miami, Medellín and New York, with appearances at venues such as Privilege Ibiza, Pacha Barcelona, Joy Eslava Madrid, Golden Gate Berlin, Salon Amador, Brooklyn Store House and Space Miami. Blending house, disco, funk, jazz, acid, minimal and Latin influences, his sound is rooted in groove-driven, emotionally rich records designed for both underground dancefloors and modern listeners. Through Thompson Street Records, he continues to expand his vision of what he calls Modern House Music.
