Biography & Metadata

GRAMMY nominee in 2024. Award winner in Montecatini Film Festival (2023), BIFA (2022–2023), and IPA, MIFA and TIFA (2019–2021). Currently a cello teacher at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias (Tenerife) and artistic director and producer of the label Anaga Classics. He collaborates with Major Tom Project, Iki-Gai Tube, MÖSTING (with Sissi del Castillo), audiovisual artist Rodrigo Cornejo, Malaysian singer Reaasri, David Pianosound and soprano Raquel Lojendio. He has released numerous recordings of his own music in CD and digital formats, exploring contemporary, experimental and multimedia creation. Previously a member of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, he has composed for dance companies, theatre, contemporary music ensembles, jazz-rock, fusion and audiovisual productions. A cellist, self-taught guitarist and composer, he studied with Lluis Claret and Raphael Wallfisch and expanded his training with prestigious international musicians. His music intertwines past, present and future: resilient colours, melodic counterpoints and layered rhythms draw a slow, evolving journey towards a distinctive harmonic landscape. A listening proposal born from stillness and resonance—an inner journey into the memory of music.
