Nik Mester

Hey, my name is Nik Mester. I am a Songwriter, Singer and Musician based in Germany. I was born in Cologne in February 1993, grew up in Bamberg where I went to school. I started playing the piano when I was four years old and changed to Cornet when I was twelve. With 15 years nothing could hold me back to learn guitar by myself, falling in love with Johnny Cash Songs. When I finished school I had the chance to study Music Education & Pop/Jazz Guitar in Nuremberg. From this moment on all I wanted to do was playing live. My musical roots are bands like Toto, John Mayer and Dream Theater. I love listening to different styles of music, they give me a lot of inspiration. Though I am a Studio Musician and Songwriter for other artists, starting as a Solo Artist gave me the chance to produce songs for lyrics that came to my mind when I really got into writing songs for myself. My first Single "Remember you" is a Song that I wrote in Sweden, where I travelled a lot with my wife. We had a small Apartment there where I could focus on writing a lot of lyrics, so stay tuned for more to come!
