Biography & Metadata

Born Ariel Michelle Finch, Pop-R&B singer, songwriter, and dancer grew up surrounded by music with a bassist father, former-dancer mother, and gospel singer aunt. Having desired a music career since early childhood, ARYIEL sang in school choirs and wrote songs privately. Later, she took dance classes to prepare for her career in late 2024, when she began promoting her self-written and produced debut EP. ARYIEL describes singing as her first love and says, “There has never been a time in my life when I haven’t been singing.” A graduate of Howard University, ARYIEL crafts pop-R&B music focused on strong vocals, experimental production, and melodies that stick with you. Inspired by Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, and Brandy, her songs draw from life’s ups and downs, blending pop hooks with the groove of R&B, moving your heart as well as your body. With her edgy yet sleek style, she is known for her presence across Los Angeles stages. As Green Tea Studios of LA puts it: “She's got a really strong voice. You don't really hear that too much either. Not anymore. It's a lost art.” Featuring the single Caughtcha!, ARYIEL’s sophomore EP, Twenty And A Half Twenty, explores the emotional extremes that come with ending childhood and becoming an adult. She wrote about loneliness, anger, jealousy, peace, and the moments in between. Rather than presenting these emotions as something to avoid, the EP treats them as natural parts of being human.
