Chris Farfan

😎Singer, songwriter, music producer, and small business owner. Chris Farfan is based in Greenwich, CT. His indie rock music can feel dark and brooding, but it's balanced with hopeful and uplifting sounds. Chris and his brother Jorge, the lead guitarist, started playing music in high school. Their family originated from Ecuador. and they grew up in Meriden, CT. The 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and the 90's are all represented in their musical influences. They became big music fans thanks to their dad, who loved blasting his vinyl records. Old School Latin, Big Bands, Elvis, Sinatra, Liberace, Santana, MJ, plenty of disco! Soon they found out about Sabbath, Maiden, Zeppelin, Floyd, Queensryche, The Cure, Rage, Alice in Chains, Tim/Jeff Buckley, Nina, Sonic Youth, and the list goes on... After graduating from FIT in NYC, armed with Fine Art degrees, they formed the band FARFAN with bass player Rich Guerzon(of Dog Society) and a revolving door of drummers. They produced two albums, "Black Circles in the Attic"(2000) and "Moments Beyond the Attic"(2005). FARFAN performed live for several years in NYC at various clubs, including The Mercury Lounge, Sin-e, and The Cutting Room...until 2008. In 2016, Chris released his first solo album titled "Ghost Town Heart"🖤 He has subsequently been releasing a few new singles each year...still with his trusty sidekicks Jorge and Rich, along with Antonio Graci, and Rich Redmond on drums.
