Siren's Sky

Siren’s Sky is the alternative rock/pop project of Dutch songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, recording engineer and producer Herbert Kaptein. The music ranges from quiet, introspective reflection and atmospheric momentum to heavy, expressive alternative rock. Built around strong melodies, dynamic guitar-driven arrangements and polished production, the songs often feature powerful female vocals by singers from around the world. Lyrics explore spiritual, existential and cosmic themes with sincerity and emotional depth—touching on connection, freedom, pain, memory and wonder. The result is atmospheric yet direct music that feels both personal and expansive, balancing intimacy with rock energy. Siren’s Sky is a true studio project in which Herbert writes, arranges, performs and produces everything, collaborating closely with vocalists to bring each song to life.
