Folau

FOLAU is a rising force in the Island Reggae scene, blending soulful melodies with island rhythms and a deep cultural pride rooted in his Tongan heritage. Born and raised in Aotearoa (New Zealand), FOLAU brings a fresh yet familiar sound that pays homage to the legends who paved the way—most notably his key influence, the iconic Fiji (George Veikoso). From backing vocals for powerhouse names like Stan Walker, J-Boog, and Lomez Brown to commanding the stage solo, FOLAU’s voice is no stranger to the spotlight. His smooth harmonies and magnetic presence have taken him to major festival stages, including One Love and Promiseland, and earned him a spot as a finalist at the prestigious Pacific Music Awards. With every note, FOLAU tells a story—one of roots, resilience, and rhythm. Whether he’s backing a beat or leading the charge, his music is a celebration of culture, connection, and the island soul.
