Trey Robbins

Trey Robbins is an Atlanta-based songwriter and producer whose music blends indie rock, heartland rock, and Americana. Before settling in Atlanta as a lawyer, he played bass and some guitar in several rock bands in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. While raising a family and building a legal career in Atlanta, he stayed connected to music and the visual arts, eventually returning to music through songwriting. His songs are lyric-first, built from specific moments rather than general ideas., and focus on the decisive moment. The writing leans on his midwest upbringing of show, don't just tell: concrete images, cause and effect, and the pressures that drive human relationships. He embraces AI technology for vocals and musical instruments as one of many tools in his creative process, bringing his handwritten lyrics, musical ideas, arrangements, and production choices to life as finished songs.
