Andy James

Andy James is an independent producer, musician, DJ and artist who refuses to be boxed into one genre. Starting with a pair of turntables, a guitar, a voice and a passion, his journey took him from underground trance and international DJ bookings to the world of professional recording, including Soundscape and Rockfield Studios in South Wales. "I'm the last of a dying breed of producers who learned at the elbow of the best to ever do it." Shaped by hands-on studio experience and generations of recording craft, Andy brings that knowledge into a sound entirely his own, after a lifetime spent hanging around learning from the great's. His influences span Nirvana, MGMT, The Strokes, Kings Of Leon, Biffy Clyro, Bring me the Horizon , Oasis, The Verve, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, Tame impala, Richard Ashcroft, Queens of the Stone Age, and Fontaines D.C., alongside psychedelic stoner rock, desert rock, uplifting trance, drum & bass and cinematic orchestration. His album *We Come Alive* brings those worlds together — electronic energy, psychedelic guitars, euphoric melodies and darker, experimental sounds. No fixed genre. No borrowed identity. Just music made on his own terms. No Industry Plant , No shrinking violet, A SONIC POWER HOUSE with the charm & charisma & undeniable talent & presence of a ROCK STAR for the ages!
