2024 saw FranKo return from a 10 year hiatus re-invigorated, playful and ready to unleash eclectic new sounds. The UK four piece, a group of lifelong friends have worked hard to capture the energy and optimism of their youth, now explored through adult sensibilities. The individual band members have been busily engaged all over the world, honing their crafts, and with fingers in various prestige projects: Richard Craker (guitarist/producer) has produced and worked with icons like Liam Gallagher and achieved chart-topping success, including reaching Billboard Number 1 in China and Top 10 in over 20 countries with Taiwan’s superstar Jolin Tsai. Tommy Bastow (lead vocals), recognised not only for his musical prowess but also his acting chops, features heavily in FX's latest award-winning series, 'Shōgun' and plays the leading role in NHK’s BakeBake. Exposure to these acclaimed TV series raised his stagecraft and showmanship to new levels and allowed the opportunity to showcase his command of the Japanese language. FranKo’s music, influenced by seminal bands like Everything Everything, Mr Bungle and Radiohead, blends top-drawer musicianship, contemporary songwriting and savvy, punchy production. 2026 is about to see the release of FranKo’s fully loaded new album - a collection featuring blistering precision and heartfelt lyricism (and everything in between) - recorded at the sensational Karma Studios in Thailand.
